Terms of Service

BUILDWISE DIGITAL — web + AI automation, Brampton, Ontario. Last updated: 4 August 2026.

These terms govern use of the websites, demo assistants, and the social media management service operated by BUILDWISE DIGITAL ("I", "me"). Work delivered to a paying client is additionally governed by the signed service agreement for that engagement, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

1. What is offered

Websites and embeddable AI assistants built for a client and grounded in that client's own documents.
Social media management: preparing posts from a client's own business information, obtaining the client's approval, and publishing approved posts to the client's own accounts.
Public demonstrations of the above, using clearly-labelled fictional businesses.

2. Demo assistants

The demonstration assistants on this site and its subdomains answer from a fictional business's documents. The businesses shown in demos are fictional and the information in them is illustrative. Demos are provided as-is, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and must not be relied on for any real decision.

Do not send personal, confidential or sensitive information to a demo assistant. See the Privacy Policy for how messages are handled.

3. Social media management — account access

Where a client engages the social media service:

The client grants access to their own business accounts through the platform's official partner or manager mechanism (for example Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile). I do not ask for, store, or use account passwords.
The client may revoke access at any time, directly, without going through me.
I act only on accounts I have been expressly granted access to, and only for the agreed purposes.
Use of Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile remains subject to those platforms' own terms. Nothing here overrides them, and I cannot grant rights on their behalf.

4. Approval, content and accuracy

Nothing is published without the client's approval, unless the client has enabled automatic approval in writing in their agreement.
Posts are generated from information the client supplies (such as their menu, hours and locations). The client is responsible for the accuracy of that underlying information and for the truth of factual claims about their own business.
The client is responsible for holding the necessary rights to any photograph or material they supply for posting, including any consent needed from people appearing in it.
Content prepared for a client, once paid for, belongs to the client.
I will not knowingly publish content that is false, misleading, unlawful, or that breaches a platform's policies, and I may decline to publish material I believe would do so.

5. AI-generated output

AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate. Assistant replies and draft captions are generated by AI systems and are checked automatically against the client's own supplied information, but automated checks are not a substitute for human review. A human should review anything that matters before it is relied on or published.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to these services, use them to send unlawful or abusive content, or use them to impersonate any person or business. Rate limiting and abuse prevention are applied, and access may be withdrawn for misuse.

7. Availability

These services depend on third parties (including hosting, AI, and the social platforms). No uptime is guaranteed for demos or free services. Availability commitments for paid work, if any, are set out in the applicable service agreement.

8. Fees

Paid work is quoted per engagement and set out in a written proposal and service agreement. Nothing on this site is an offer or a binding quotation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees paid for the service in question, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

Either party may end an engagement in accordance with the applicable service agreement. On termination, platform access granted to me should be revoked by the client, and I will delete access tokens as described in the Privacy Policy. Posts already published remain on the client's own accounts, under the client's control.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
