Pad Thai
Rice noodles wok-tossed in tamarind & palm sugar with egg, bean sprouts, garlic chives, crushed peanuts and lime.
Bangkok street food, Toronto soi — wok-fired, chilli-charged. Fresh-pounded curry pastes, roaring woks, and the buzz of a night market on Dundas West.
A soi is a Bangkok side-street — the narrow lanes where the best food isn't in a restaurant at all, but at a cart with one blazing wok and a line down the block. Bangkok Soi is our love letter to that stall.
Our curry pastes are pounded fresh in a granite mortar — galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime, bird's-eye chilli, shrimp paste and roasted spice — never from a tub. Everything is wok-fired to order over high flame, so a plate of Pad See Ew hits your table with that smoky char Thais call wok hei.
We keep it honest and loud: bright herbs, real fish sauce, palm sugar, tamarind, and heat you can dial from gentle to properly Thai. Pull up a stool — this is street food, Toronto soi.
Every wok dish, curry and salad is cooked to your heat. Tell your server or note it on your order — from no chilli at all to properly Thai.
Full flavour, zero heat. Great for kids and delicate palates.
A gentle warmth in the background. Our default if you don't specify.
A real kick that builds — balanced by lime, herbs and coconut.
Bird's-eye chilli forward. Bring water and enjoy the ride.
The way Bangkok eats it. No mercy — ask only if you mean it.
Roaring woks, neon glow, herbs by the handful. A taste of the room before you get here.
Thai food is built for sharing and swapping. Here's how we look after every guest — just ask, and we'll steer you right.
Tofu and vegetable versions of most dishes — curries, noodles, fried rice and salads all swap easily.
We'll hold the fish sauce, egg and shrimp paste and cook with tofu — just tell us and we'll build your plate vegan.
From no chilli to Thai hot, every wok dish is cooked to your level. See the spice ladder above.
